WHAT IS FIBROMYALGIA?

Women are more likely to develop fibromyalgia than are men, and the common symptoms are widespread muscle pain and tenderness. Other symptoms include fatigue, altered mood, sleep disturbances, cognitive issues and joint pain. The exact causes of fibromyalgia are unknown, but a variety of factors are thought to contribute to fibromyalgia pain. These factors include physical or emotional trauma, genetics and infections.

WHO CAN GET FIBROMYALGIA?
